About Hopington Acres Farm

The Farm

Our Story

Our Story

At Hopington Acres Farm, we're proud of our little piece of country in the city!

Nigerian Dwarf goats are our primary focus; miniature goats suit our farmstead size and allow us to have a selection of does bred for good conformation and we strive to improve milking characteristics with successive breedings.

We are a clean and tested herd for CL, CAE and Johnne’s.

Our Story

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

- Neale Donald Walsch

We've always talked about getting goats but never persued it, until a sweet bottle-fed kid named Theo was placed in our arms and told we could keep him. We fell in love with him, his siblings (Pellet and Maple). You can follow along to see how the rest of the story unfolds on our Instagram account @hopingtonacres

Who We Are

We are the three behind Hopington Acres Farm. Mother and daughters who got out of their comfort zone with a little Nigerian Dwarf goat named Theo. He started us on a  path to explore homesteading, focusing on our goats,  their milk and all the good stuff  to be made from it.

We garden for fresh produce, flowers, make goat milk soap,  sourdough bread, hopefully cheese and possibly will embrace chickens soon. Love to share our experiences with you and learn from you in return.
