Please fill out our reservation questionnaire below. Specify the breeding pair(s) you are interested in and if you are looking for a doeling, buckling or wether. If certain characteristics such as colour, polled, blue eyes etc. interest you, please specify. We will keep this in mind but cannot guarantee this.
We will hold kids in order that we receive requests. Once kids are born, we will assess and let you know if we can fill your request. If you chose to reserve a kid, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total due will be required. You will have 48 hours to decide, then we will move to the next on the list. You may then choose to select from the next kids available.
We reserve the right to retain any animal born on the farm regardless of reservations.
We also reserve the right as a breeder to refuse a sale of a kid or doe to anyone, at any time, at any point in the transaction, at which point your deposit will be refunded.
All male kids sold as wethers will be castrated at 8 weeks old by our local vet. All disbudding is done by a vet at 7-10 days old. We cannot guarantee they will not develop scurs. This often happens and it will be the responsibility of the owner to deal with scurs if they develop.
Doelings are kept until 12 weeks old, Bucklingβs are sold and required to be picked up by 8 weeks old.
Wethers, having been castrated at 8 weeks old can be picked up between 10-12 weeks so we can assure there are no problems with the surgery.
Our animals are guaranteed healthy when they leave the property. We are not responsible once they leave our care. Purchasers are responsible for any vet bills, illnesses or deaths that occur after our goats have left the property.
All kids, apart from wethers, will be registered with the CLRC, vaccinated, (first dose) tattooed, disbudded if needed and will have had their hooves trimmed before they leave for their new homes. If you choose not to register your goat, they will not be tattooed. It will be the ownerβs responsibility to give further booster vaccinations as needed. Registrations will be done in a timely manner after all buyerβs information has been confirmed.
All animals must be paid in full before they leave the property and will be picked up at our Langley location on a mutually agreed date. Please feel free to talk to us so we can accommodate the easiest time for pickup.
We will do our best to work with you.
If you are unable to pick up your new herd member on the mutually agreed upon date, there will be a $2/day fee thereafter until pick up. If we do not hear from you after a week past the pick-up date, we will assume you have walked away from your purchase and all funds received will be non-refundable. If an animal is to be shipped, the buyer is responsible for all costs and organization of flights or transportation.
We are not responsible for the transportation of the goat, so please bring your own crate with clean, dry bedding when you come to up pick up.
Both deposits and final payments can be easily made by e-transfer.
